The tournament saw 14 agencies, who each paid $250 to enter, descend on The East Village Rooftop in Sydney’s Darlinghurst on Wednesday, including: Frank Digital, Jaywing, Sweaty Betty PR, 18Communications, Chello, Bench Platform, Loyal Agency, Murmur, Kinetic, Canvas, Host/Havas, Atomic, Step Change and Yoghurt Digital.
In total, the agencies raised $6,279 for the WIRES Emergency Fund.
The event was organised by Frank Digital and Jaywing to raise money for Wires as they help rescue and care for the animals affected by the bush fires and drought which have ravaged the country over recent months.
Says Matt Barbelli, managing director at Frank Digital: “It was really great to get all the agencies together to support this great cause. The night was such a great success and it was amazing to see how seriously everyone took it. We are looking at turning this into an annual event!”
